A pretty decent cut from a classic novelty
album from the 1960’s.
Napolean XIV, aka Jerry Samuels, was an innovative
musician who figured out a way to vary the speed of
an audio recording to produce a voice that sounded
cartoon like but not sped up.
The recording was infamous when it came out.
The number one hit was They’re Coming to Take Me
Away…Ha-Haaaa!
This one ain’t half bad…
